As a school-based RN, youll work 1:1 with students, offering medical, behavioral, and social support tailored to individual needs. Your day-to-day will involve collaborating with teachers and staff to ensure that every child in your care is safe, included, and empowered to succeed in the classroom environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct medical support, assistance with daily routines, and classroom participation for assigned students
• Provide supervision, mobility assistance, and personal care as needed
• Create and maintain a supportive, respectful, and inclusive atmosphere in the classroom
• Respond promptly to student health or behavioral needs under the guidance of school staff
• Ensure accurate documentation and uphold confidentiality and safety policies

Requirements:

• Current active RN license
• Minimum age of 18 and completion of High School diploma or GED
• Willingness to obtain TB test and any required clearances before starting
• Physical ability to stand, walk, and assist with lifting when necessary
• Dependability and readiness to support students as needed

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience within schools, special education, behavioral health, or childcare
• Familiarity supporting students with special needs, autism, or behavioral challenges
• CPR, G-Tube, or Trach care experience (strongly valued, but not required)
• Team-oriented, reliable, and patient approach
