Key Responsibilities:

• Provide 1:1 medical and behavioral support to students during the school day
• Assist with daily routines, including classroom activities, transitions, and participation
• Support teachers and school staff to ensure each childs medical and personal care needs are met
• Monitor students well-being and respond effectively to emergent health concerns
• Foster safe, respectful, and inclusive environments, upholding the highest standards of care

Requirements:

• Active RN license
• Minimum of a high school diploma or GED
• At least 18 years of age
• Current (or ability to obtain) TB test as per school specifications
• Satisfactory background clearances in compliance with school policy
• Ability to stand, walk, and assist with lifting as required

Preferred Experience:

• Experience in school nursing, special education, pediatrics, behavioral health, or child care
• Previous support for students with special needs, autism, or behavioral challenges
• Familiarity with CPR, G-Tube, or Trach procedures (not mandatory)
• Demonstrated patience, reliability, and teamwork
