School Registered Nurses Needed Per Diem, Flexible Assignments

Support young learners and make a real difference in a dynamic school environment as a per diem Registered Nurse. Flexible, school-based roles are available, where you can choose shifts to fit your schedule and work closely with students who benefit from your clinical expertise and caring nature.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver one-on-one nursing care for students, assisting with medical needs, daily routines, and classroom participation
• Provide behavioral and social support in collaboration with teachers and school staff
• Support students participation in activities, daily transitions, and mobility or personal care needs
• Maintain a safe, healthy, and inclusive classroom atmosphere
• Foster respectful, positive interactions and adapt approaches for individual student needs

Qualifications:

• Current, active RN license
• High school diploma or GED required
• Must be 18 years or older
• TB test compliance (per district requirements)
• Ability to stand, walk, and assist with lifting as needed
• Current clearances, or willingness to obtain them prior to starting

Preferred Experience:

• Background in schools, special education, behavioral health, or child care settings
• Experience with special needs, autism, or behavioral challenges
• CPR, G-Tube, or Trach skills are a plus (not required)
• Demonstrate reliability, patience, and a collaborative mindset

Compensation for this position ranges from $30.77 to $48.77. This posting is open for 60 days after the posting date.
