Per Diem School-Based Registered Nurse (RN) - Hartford, Connecticut

Responsibilities:

• Deliver 1:1 and small group support for students requiring academic, behavioral, and social assistance under the supervision of certified staff
• Assist students with daily health routines, classroom participation, and safe transitions between activities
• Implement behavior support strategies and follow Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Provide supervision, mobility assistance, and personal care as needed
• Help maintain a safe, respectful, and welcoming school environment

Qualifications:

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) licensure
• High school diploma or GED required; minimum age 18
• TB test compliance per school district regulations
• Ability to stand, walk, and assist with lifting as needed
• Current clearances, or willingness to obtain required checks prior to start

Preferred Experience:

• Prior work in school settings, special education, behavioral health, or child care
• Experience with students who have special needs, autism, or behavioral challenges
• Certifications in CPI, PMT, or RBT are a plus
• Reliable, patient, and collaborative work style
