Per Diem School RN in Flint, MI

School Registered Nurses have an opportunity to make a lasting difference in student lives through flexible, school-based roles supporting individual students in classroom settings. Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct medical, behavioral, and social support to students within classroom environments
• Offer individualized, 1:1 assistance at the directive of teachers and school staff
• Assist with daily care needs, classroom participation, transitions, and support of routines
• Provide supervision, mobility assistance, and personal care as needed
• Foster a positive, respectful, and secure learning atmosphere for all students

Requirements:

• Active RN license in hand
• High school diploma or GED required
• Minimum age of 18
• TB test up to district standards
• Willingness to complete or update background clearances before starting
• Physical ability to stand, walk, and assist with lifting when called upon

Preferred Qualities:

• Prior experience in educational, behavioral health, or childcare environments
• Familiarity with special needs populations, autism, or behavioral challenges
• Training in CPR, G-Tube, or Trach care (helpful but not mandatory)
• Dependable, compassionate, and able to work well with others
