Spindle is actively hiring Registered Nurses to support students 1:1.. These roles are ideal for compassionate professionals who want to make a meaningful impact while working in a structured school setting.
This is a per diem, as-needed position with shifts available based on school coverage needs.
 
Position Responsibilities

• Support students medically, behaviorally, and socially in classroom settings
• Provide 1:1 assistance as directed by teachers and school staff
• Assist students with medical needs, daily routines, transitions, and classroom participation
• Support mobility, supervision, and personal care needs
• Maintain a safe, respectful, and inclusive learning environment

 
Requirements ( School Compliance)
To work in schools, you must meet the following requirements:

• An active RN or LPN license
• At least a High school diploma or GED
• At least 18 years of age
• TB test (per district requirements)
• Ability to stand, walk, and assist with lifting when needed

Clearances must be current or willing to obtain prior to start.
 
Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in a school, special education, behavioral health, or child care setting
• Experience supporting students with special needs, autism, or behavioral challenges
• CPR, G-Tube, or Trach experience a plus (not required)
• Reliable, patient, and team-oriented mindset
