Per Diem School RN in Deatsville, AL

In this hands-on role, you will:

• Deliver 1:1 or small group support, addressing academic, behavioral, and social needs under teacher direction
• Assist students with daily routines, classroom participation, and smooth transitions
• Implement and follow behavior plans and Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Provide mobility assistance, supervision, and personal care as needed
• Maintain a safe, inclusive, and respectful environment for all students

To be considered, youll need:

• An active RN license in Alabama
• To be at least 18 years old
• TB test compliance in accordance with local regulations
• Physical capacity to stand, walk, and assist with lifting
• Up-to-date background clearances or willingness to obtain them before start

Preferred qualifications include:

• Previous work in schools, special education, behavioral health, or child care
• Experience supporting children with special needs, autism, or behavioral challenges
• CPI, PMT, or RBT experience or certification
• A dependable, patient, and collaborative mindset
