As an Instructional Aide, youll have the chance to work 1:1 or in small groups, supporting students academically, behaviorally, and socially. Whether youre assisting with daily routines or helping students participate in classroom activities, your compassion and reliability will help create an inclusive, encouraging learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide individualized or small-group academic and behavioral support under teacher direction
• Assist students with classroom participation, daily routines, and transitions
• Implement behavior support strategies and follow IEPs when applicable
• Offer supervision, mobility support, and personal care as needed
• Promote a safe, respectful, and inclusive atmosphere for all students

Whats Required:

• High school diploma or GED
• Minimum age of 18
• Ability to meet district TB testing requirements
• Capacity to stand, walk, and assist with lifting
• Up-to-date or willing to obtain necessary school clearances

Preferred Skills & Experience:

• Previous experience in school, special education, behavioral health, or child care environments
• Comfort and capability in supporting students with special needs, autism, or behavioral challenges
• CPI, PMT, or RBT experience welcomed but not mandatory
• Patient, reliable, and strong team orientation
