School Registered Nurses have an opportunity to make a lasting impact by supporting students in the classroom on a per diem basis. These flexible roles are perfect for caring professionals ready to provide 1:1 assistance in a school-based environment. Assignments are available as needed, allowing you to choose shifts that fit your scheduleall while making a difference for students who benefit from dedicated nursing support.

Your role includes:

• Offering 1:1 assistance to students during the school day, following the guidance of teachers and school personnel
• Supporting students with health and personal care needs, daily routines, transitions, and classroom engagement
• Promoting safety, supervision, and mobility for assigned students
• Creating an inclusive, respectful environment that encourages student well-being
• Assisting with medical needs and interventions as required

Required for compliance in school settings:

• Current RN license
• High school diploma or GED
• At least 18 years of age
• TB test as required by local guidelines
• Physically able to stand, walk, and assist with lifting
• Able to provide or obtain all necessary clearances before starting

Preferred qualifications:

• School nursing, special education, behavioral health, or child care experience
• Experience supporting students with special needs, autism, or behavioral challenges
• CPR certification or familiarity with G-Tube/Trach care is helpful
• Dependable, positive, and collaborative approach
