Per Diem Registered Nurse School Setting - Burnsville, MN

Seeking highly motivated Registered Nurses for flexible, school-based assignments on a per diem basis. If you are dedicated to student care and thrive in dynamic environments, this opportunity provides meaningful, hands-on experience supporting students 1:1 in classroom settings.

What Youll Do

• Deliver 1:1 medical, emotional, and behavioral support to students as guided by teachers and staff
• Assist students with daily routines, transitions, classroom participation, and personal care needs
• Help ensure mobility, safety, and supervision throughout the school day
• Maintain a positive, respectful, and inclusive environment for all students
• Collaborate with educators and school professionals for cohesive student support

Candidates Must Have

• Active RN license
• High school diploma or GED
• Minimum age of 18
• Recent TB test (per school compliance requirements)
• Ability to stand, walk, and assist with lifting as needed
• Up-to-date clearances, or willingness to obtain before starting

Ideal Background

• Previous experience in schools, special education, behavioral health, or child care settings
• Experience working with students who have special needs or behavioral challenges, such as autism
• CPR certification or experience with G-tube or tracheostomy care is beneficial but not mandatory
• Reliable, compassionate, and comfortable working as part of a team
