Per Diem School-Based Registered Nurse (RN) | Arlington Heights, Illinois

As a registered nurse working per diem in local schools, youll deliver 1:1 care tailored to students unique needs and help foster safe, inclusive classrooms where all learners can thrive. Your Impactful Responsibilities:

• Support students medically, behaviorally, and socially during classroom activities
• Work closely with teachers and school staff to provide effective 1:1 assistance
• Help students with medical needs, daily routines, transitions, and classroom engagement
• Offer supervision, mobility support, and personal care as needed
• Contribute to a respectful and safe school environment

Requirements for School Compliance:

• Active RN license
• High school diploma or GED
• At least 18 years of age
• TB test as required
• Ability to stand, walk, and help with lifting
• Willingness to obtain current background clearances before starting

Preferred Skills and Experience:

• Prior work in school, special education, behavioral health, or childcare
• Experience supporting students with special needs, autism, or behavioral challenges
• CPR, G-Tube, or Trach experience valued but not required
• Reliability, patience, and collaboration skills
