Per Diem Pediatric Registered Nurse School Setting in Allentown, PA

School Registered Nurses are needed for flexible, per diem opportunities supporting students in a dynamic school environment near Allentown, PA. These roles offer meaningful, one-on-one engagement with students who benefit from skilled RN care throughout the school day. You'll collaborate with educators and staff to ensure every child has the support necessary to thrive academically, socially, and medically.

What You'll Do

• Provide direct, 1:1 nursing care to assigned students in classroom and school settings
• Assist with daily medical routines, health monitoring, and emergency care as required
• Support students behavioral and social well-being in collaboration with teachers and staff
• Aid with mobility, personal care, and transitions within and between classrooms
• Maintain accurate records and help uphold health, safety, and inclusion standards

Minimum Requirements

• Active RN license
• High school diploma or GED (or higher)
• Age 18+ and eligible to work in school settings
• Completion of TB test (per district guidelines)
• Current background clearances (or willingness to obtain)
• Ability to stand, walk, and assist with lifting when necessary

Preferred Experience

• Background in pediatrics, school nursing, special education, or behavioral health
• Experience with students with special needs, autism, or behavioral challenges
• Training in CPR, G-tube, or trach care (helpful but not required)
• Reliability, patience, and a collaborative approach
