Job Description

Registered Behavioral Technicians are invited to make a positive impact in school settings by providing essential 1:1 support to students. As a Registered Behavior Technician in a school environment, youll help students succeed academically, behaviorally, and socially, while working alongside dedicated school staff. Your expertise and care will not only empower students but also contribute to a collaborative, inclusive classroom experience.

What Youll Do:

  • Assist students individually or in small groups as guided by teachers and staff
  • Support academic achievement, social interactions, and positive behavior
  • Help with daily classroom routines, transitions, and engagement
  • Implement behavior support plans and support students according to their IEPs
  • Provide supervision and help with mobility and personal care as needed
  • Foster a safe, respectful, and positive learning environment

Requirements for School Placement:

  • High school diploma or GED
  • 18+ years of age
  • TB test required by district (current or willingness to obtain)
  • Ability to stand, walk, and support occasional lifting
  • Current clearances or willingness to complete them before starting

Preferred Background:

  • Experience in schools, special education, behavioral health, or childcare
  • Familiarity with special needs, autism, or behavioral challenges
  • CPI, PMT, or RBT experience valued, but not required
  • Patient, reliable, and collaborative approach
