Job Description
Registered Behavioral Technicians are invited to make a positive impact in school settings by providing essential 1:1 support to students. As a Registered Behavior Technician in a school environment, youll help students succeed academically, behaviorally, and socially, while working alongside dedicated school staff. Your expertise and care will not only empower students but also contribute to a collaborative, inclusive classroom experience.
What Youll Do:
- Assist students individually or in small groups as guided by teachers and staff
- Support academic achievement, social interactions, and positive behavior
- Help with daily classroom routines, transitions, and engagement
- Implement behavior support plans and support students according to their IEPs
- Provide supervision and help with mobility and personal care as needed
- Foster a safe, respectful, and positive learning environment
Requirements for School Placement:
- High school diploma or GED
- 18+ years of age
- TB test required by district (current or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to stand, walk, and support occasional lifting
- Current clearances or willingness to complete them before starting
Preferred Background:
- Experience in schools, special education, behavioral health, or childcare
- Familiarity with special needs, autism, or behavioral challenges
- CPI, PMT, or RBT experience valued, but not required
- Patient, reliable, and collaborative approach

Compensation for this position ranges from $28.50 to $40.50. This posting is open for 60 days after the posting date.
