Responsibilities include:

• Delivering 1:1 or small group support in academic, behavioral, and social areas under teacher direction
• Assisting students with daily routines, classroom transitions, and active participation
• Following behavior intervention strategies and implementing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Providing support for supervision, mobility, and, when needed, personal care
• Helping maintain a safe, respectful, and inclusive environment conducive to learning

Key qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED
• Minimum age of 18
• Ability to comply with TB screening requirements
• Physical capacity for standing, walking, and occasional lifting or physical assistance
• Current background clearances or willingness to obtain them prior to employment

Preferred background and experiences:

• Experience in schools, behavioral health, special education, or child care
• Skilled in supporting students with special needs, autism, or behavioral challenges
• Certification or background as an RBT, or training in behavioral intervention (CPI, PMT) beneficial
• Collaborative, patient, and dependable attitude
