Key Qualifications:

• Associates degree or higher required
• At least 18 years old
• Able to stand, walk, and assist with lifting as necessary
• Current fingerprint background clearance, or willingness to secure it prior to starting
• Background in schools, special education, behavioral health, or child care preferred
• Experience with students who have special needs, autism, or behavioral challenges desired
• Certification or experience in CPI, PMT, or as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) is a plus
• Reliable, patient demeanor and strong teamwork skills

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide individualized or small group academic, behavioral, and social support following teacher guidance
• Help students with daily routines, transitions, and inclusive classroom participation
• Implement behavioral interventions and follow IEPs to support student goals
• Assist with mobility, supervision, and personal care as needed
• Support a safe, respectful, and encouraging learning environment
