School-based Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) play a vital role in fostering a positive, structured environment for students who need specialized behavioral support. Youll provide direct 1:1 support to students, working closely with teachers and school staff to ensure every learners experience is educational, safe, and supportive. Key Responsibilities:

• Provide academic, behavioral, and social support to students in classroom settings
• Implement individualized behavior plans and document progress
• Offer 1:1 or small-group assistance, following teacher or staff direction
• Assist students with daily routines, mobility, transitions, and classroom participation
• Support students personal care needs as required
• Foster a respectful, inclusive environment conducive to learning
• Collaborate with both school staff and clinical supervisors to report on student behaviors and needs

Role Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED
• Active Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification
• Minimum age: 18 years
• Current TB test (or willingness to obtain)
• Ability to support physical needs and assist with lifting
• Up-to-date school clearances or willingness to complete them

Preferred Experience & Qualities:

• Previous experience in school, childcare, special education, or behavioral health settings
• Familiarity with supporting students with autism, behavioral challenges, or special needs
• CPI, PMT, or extensive RBT background a plus
• Team-oriented, patient, and reliable
