Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver one-on-one or small group academic, behavioral, and social support following teacher direction
- Assist students during daily routines, transitions, and active participation in the classroom
- Implement behavior support strategies and adhere to students Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Provide assistance with mobility, supervision, or personal care needs as necessary
- Foster a safe, inclusive, and respectful classroom setting
Required Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED
- At least 18 years of age
- Up-to-date TB test compliance (as required by district guidelines)
- Ability to stand, walk, and lift as part of daily duties
- Current clearances or willingness to obtain prior to starting
Preferred Experience:
- Previous work in schools, special education, behavioral health, or childcare
- Experience supporting students with special needs, autism, or behavioral challenges
- Certification or hands-on experience in CPI, PMT, or as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT)
- Demonstrated reliability, patience, and strong teamwork skills
