As part of your day-to-day responsibilities, you can expect to:

  • Deliver one-on-one and small group support, reinforcing learning and behavioral goals set by teaching staff
  • Guide students through daily routines, assist with classroom transitions, and foster active participation
  • Implement and document behavior support plans, following students Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
  • Offer mobility and supervision assistance, as well as personal care support when needed
  • Help promote a positive, respectful, and supportive learning atmosphere for all students

Candidates for this opportunity will possess:

  • An Associates degree or higher (required)
  • Age 18+ and the physical ability to walk, stand, and assist with lifting
  • Willingness to obtain current fingerprint clearances before beginning work
  • Experience in schools, special education, behavioral health, or child care (preferred)
  • Background in supporting students with special needs, autism, or behavioral challenges highly valued
  • CPI, PMT, or Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) credentials or experience are desirable
  • Reliability, patience, strong communication, and a team-oriented spirit
