Job Description

Key Qualifications:

  • Must have a high school diploma or GED
  • Current Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification required
  • 18 years of age or older
  • Ability to obtain or provide proof of recent TB test per school policy
  • Capable of standing, walking, and assisting with lifting as needed
  • Willingness to obtain necessary school clearances before starting Preferred candidates bring experience from school, special education, child care, or behavioral health roles, and have a demonstrated understanding of supporting students with autism or behavioral challenges. CPI, PMT, or additional behavioral intervention experience is a bonus but not required. A patient, reliable, and collaborative attitude is highly valued.

Role Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct 1:1 or small group support in classrooms as directed
  • Assist students with daily routines, transitions, and meaningful participation
  • Implement behavior support plans and follow IEPs where relevant
  • Observe, support, and report student behavior to supervising staff
  • Help maintain an inclusive, positive, and respectful learning environment
  • Support students with mobility and personal care needs when necessary
