Job Description

Key Qualifications:
- Must have a high school diploma or GED
- Current Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification required
- 18 years of age or older
- Ability to obtain or provide proof of recent TB test per school policy
- Capable of standing, walking, and assisting with lifting as needed
- Willingness to obtain necessary school clearances before starting Preferred candidates bring experience from school, special education, child care, or behavioral health roles, and have a demonstrated understanding of supporting students with autism or behavioral challenges. CPI, PMT, or additional behavioral intervention experience is a bonus but not required. A patient, reliable, and collaborative attitude is highly valued.
Role Responsibilities:
- Provide direct 1:1 or small group support in classrooms as directed
- Assist students with daily routines, transitions, and meaningful participation
- Implement behavior support plans and follow IEPs where relevant
- Observe, support, and report student behavior to supervising staff
- Help maintain an inclusive, positive, and respectful learning environment
- Support students with mobility and personal care needs when necessary
