Per Diem Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) - Stockton, CA

Per diem opportunities are available for Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) to substitute in school settings, assisting students on a 1:1 basis across a variety of academic, behavioral, and social needs. These assignments offer the chance to make a direct, positive impact in student lives, all while working according to your own availability.

As an RBT supporting students in schools, you'll:

• Provide individualized and small-group support as directed by educators
• Help students navigate daily routines, classroom transitions, and activities
• Monitor and report behavioral data to your supervisor
• Implement tailored behavior support plans and IEP strategies as needed
• Assist with personal care, mobility, and supervision requirements
• Foster a safe, inclusive, and respectful educational environment

To ensure a smooth start in this role, youll need:

• High school diploma or GED
• Active RBT certification
• Age of 18 years or older
• TB test (per school compliance guidelines)
• Ability to stand, walk, and help lift if required
• Up-to-date or willingness to obtain background clearances

Experience working in school settings, with special education populations, or in behavioral health is highly valued. Additional training such as CPI, PMT, or prior RBT roles will set you apart, but a caring and team-focused approach is most important.
