Per Diem Registered Behavior Technician - Solana Beach, CA

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct support to students individually or in small groups, following guidance from teachers and staff
• Assist students with classroom routines, daily transitions, and active participation
• Implement personalized behavior support plans and adhere to IEPs as required
• Support students academic, social, and behavioral growth in the classroom
• Help maintain a safe, supportive, and inclusive environment
• Aid students with mobility, supervision, and, if needed, personal care
• Foster positive interactions and reinforce respectful behavior

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Minimum age 18 with a high school diploma or GED
• TB test clearance (in accordance with school requirements)
• Ability to stand, walk, and provide lifting assistance
• Must have or be willing to obtain all school-required clearances prior to starting

Preferred Experience:

• Background in education, special education, behavioral health, or childcare
• Experience supporting students with special needs, autism, or behavioral challenges
• Training in CPI, PMT, or as an RBT is a bonus, but not mandatory
• Highly patient, reliable, and collaborative

Compensation for this position ranges from $28.50 to $40.50. This posting is open for 60 days after the posting date.
