Per Diem Registered Behavior Technician in Shawnee, KS

As an essential member of the educational support staff, your days will be filled with meaningful interactions and purposeful tasks, including:

Responsibilities:

• Deliver 1:1 and small group guidance for academic, behavioral, and social skill development, following teacher direction
• Support students throughout daily routines, transitions, and ensure active participation in classroom activities
• Implement behavior support strategies and adhere to Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Assist with mobility, provide attentive supervision, and offer personal care help as necessary
• Help uphold a safe, inclusive, and positive school environment for all students

Qualifications:

• Associate's degree or higher required
• At least 18 years of age
• Able to stand, walk, and assist with lifting as needed
• Current fingerprint background clearances or willingness to obtain before starting

Preferred Experience and Skills:

• Experience in schools, behavioral health, special education, or child care settings
• Familiarity with supporting students with special needs, autism, or behavioral challenges
• Certifications or experience in CPI, PMT, or RBT are highly valued
• Demonstrated reliability, patience, and teamwork
