Job Description

As an essential member of the educational support staff, your days will be filled with meaningful interactions and purposeful tasks, including:
Responsibilities:
- Deliver 1:1 and small group guidance for academic, behavioral, and social skill development, following teacher direction
- Support students throughout daily routines, transitions, and ensure active participation in classroom activities
- Implement behavior support strategies and adhere to Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Assist with mobility, provide attentive supervision, and offer personal care help as necessary
- Help uphold a safe, inclusive, and positive school environment for all students
Qualifications:
- Associate's degree or higher required
- At least 18 years of age
- Able to stand, walk, and assist with lifting as needed
- Current fingerprint background clearances or willingness to obtain before starting
Preferred Experience and Skills:
- Experience in schools, behavioral health, special education, or child care settings
- Familiarity with supporting students with special needs, autism, or behavioral challenges
- Certifications or experience in CPI, PMT, or RBT are highly valued
- Demonstrated reliability, patience, and teamwork
