Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct 1:1 or small-group behavioral and academic support in school environments
• Assist students with daily routines, smooth transitions, and active classroom participation
• Implement behavior support plans and adhere to IEPs when needed
• Support teachers and school staff with the supervision and care of students
• Help maintain a safe, inclusive, and respectful school environment
• Address students mobility, supervision, and personal care needs

Required Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED
• At least 18 years old
• TB test (as required by district policies)
• Physically able to stand, walk, and assist with lifting
• Current clearances or willingness to obtain prior to start

Preferred Experience:

• Background in schools, special education, behavioral health, or child care settings
• Experience working with students who have special needs, autism, or behavioral challenges
• Familiarity with CPI, PMT, or RBT practices preferred but not required
• Dependable, patient, and collaborative attitude
