Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide one-on-one or small group academic, behavioral, and social support under teacher direction
  • Assist with daily routines, classroom transitions, and active participation
  • Implement behavior support plans and follow Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
  • Support mobility, supervision, and personal care needs when appropriate
  • Help cultivate a safe, respectful, and inclusive environment

Qualifications:

  • Associates Degree or higher
  • At least 18 years of age
  • Physically able to stand, walk, and help with lifting as needed
  • Current fingerprint background clearance, or willingness to obtain prior to starting

Preferred Experience:

  • Background in schools, special education, behavioral health, or child care
  • Experience supporting students with special needs, autism, or behavioral challenges
  • Certification or experience in CPI, PMT, or as an RBT is a plus
  • Reliable, patient, and collaborative
