Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver 1:1 or small group academic and behavioral support under teacher supervision
  • Assist students during daily routines, classroom activities, and transitions
  • Implement behavior support plans and support Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
  • Provide assistance with mobility, supervision, and personal care as needed
  • Help maintain a safe, positive, and inclusive learning atmosphere

Desired Qualifications:

  • Associates degree or higher
  • Must be at least 18 years old
  • Able to stand, walk, and assist in lifting when necessary
  • Willingness to complete required fingerprint background clearances prior to starting
  • Experience in school, special education, behavioral health, or child care is a plus
  • Background supporting students with special needs, autism, or behavioral challenges preferred
  • Certification or experience in CPI, PMT, or as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) considered advantageous
  • Demonstrated dependability, patience, and teamwork
