As a Registered Behavior Technician substitute, youll provide 1:1 and small-group support to students, focusing on their academic, social, and behavioral success. What youll do:

• Support students academically, behaviorally, and socially within classroom environments
• Assist students individually or in small groups as directed by teachers and staff
• Facilitate smooth daily routines, transitions, and classroom participation
• Carry out behavior support plans and follow students IEPs where applicable
• Assist with mobility, supervision, and, when necessary, personal care needs
• Foster a safe, inclusive, and respectful learning community

Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED
• At least 18 years old
• Ability to provide a TB test as requested by the district
• Able to stand, walk, and help with lifting as needed
• Current clearancesor willingness to obtain them before starting

Preferred experience:

• School, special education, behavioral health, or childcare background
• Experience with special needs, autism, or behavioral challenges
• CPI, PMT, or RBT knowledge a plus (not required)
• Dependable, patient, and collaborative attitude
