Responsibilities:

  • Deliver one-on-one or small group guidance to students, supporting academic achievement and positive behaviors under teacher direction
  • Assist with classroom routines, transitions, and participation, ensuring students are engaged and included
  • Implement individualized behavior plans and support IEP goals in a consistent, compassionate manner
  • Aid students with mobility, supervision, and personal care needs as needed
  • Contribute actively to a safe, respectful, and inclusive learning atmosphere

Qualifications:

  • Associate's Degree or higher required
  • At least 18 years of age
  • Capable of standing, walking, and assisting with lifting or physical support tasks
  • Ability to obtain current fingerprint background clearance prior to start

Preferred Experience:

  • Previous work in schools, special education, behavioral health, or child care
  • Experience with students who have special needs, autism, or behavioral challenges
  • Certification/experience in CPI, PMT, or as a Registered Behavior Technician a plus
  • Reliability, patience, and a collaborative mindset

Pay for this position is $22.00 per hour.
