Key Position Responsibilities:

• Provide 1:1 and small-group assistance to students, as directed by teachers and staff
• Support students academic achievements, behavior, and classroom engagement
• Help with daily routines, transitions, and promoting classroom participation
• Implement behavior support plans and adhere to IEPs when applicable
• Assist with supervision, mobility, and personal care as needed
• Foster a respectful, inclusive, and safe learning environment

School Compliance Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED and at least 18 years of age
• Current TB test (as required by district)
• Ability to stand, walk, and help with lifting
• Willingness to obtain or update clearances prior to starting

Preferred Background:

• Experience within school, special education, child care, or behavioral health settings
• Direct support for students with autism or behavioral challenges is valuable
• Training in CPI, PMT, or previous experience as an RBT a plus, though not required
• Reliable, patient, and collaborative work style
