Per Diem Registered Behavior Technician in Oceanside, CA

Registered Behavioral Technician substitutes are needed to be an essential support for students in a structured academic environment. This per diem opportunity provides flexibility, allowing you to accept assignments that fit your schedule as coverage needs arise throughout the school year. As a trusted professional, youll deliver 1:1 or small-group assistancehelping students navigate academics, routines, and behavioral goals.

Position Highlights:

• Offer academic, behavioral, and social support to students within classrooms
• Assist with daily routines, classroom participation, and transitions
• Implement and follow behavior support plans and IEPs as directed
• Provide mobility, supervision, and personal care support when needed
• Maintain a safe, respectful, and inclusive classroom atmosphere

School Compliance Requirements:

• Must hold a high school diploma or GED
• At least 18 years of age
• TB test required per local guidelines
• Ability to stand, walk, and assist with lifting as necessary
• Current background clearances or willingness to obtain prior to start

Preferred Background:

• Experience working in schools, special education, behavioral health, or child care
• Familiarity supporting students with autism, special needs, or behavioral challenges
• CPI, PMT, or RBT experience is desirable but not mandatory
• Reliable, patient, and collaborative approach
