Per Diem Registered Behavior Technician in Oakland, CA

Registered Behavior Technicians are currently needed for rewarding, school-based opportunities near Oakland, CA. Youll work one-on-one with students, offering academic, social, and behavioral support as directed by teachers or school staff. Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct assistance to students, supporting academic, behavioral, and social growth in classroom settings
• Offer 1:1 or small-group support under teacher or staff direction
• Facilitate student participation, transitions, daily routines, and classroom engagement
• Implement individualized behavior support plans and follow IEPs as applicable
• Assist with mobility, supervision, and personal care needs as needed
• Uphold a safe, respectful, and inclusive environment for all students

Requirements:

• Must have a high school diploma or GED
• At least 18 years old
• TB test as required
• Ability to stand, walk, and occasionally assist with lifting
• Current clearances, or willingness to obtain them before your start date

Preferred Experience:

• School, special education, behavioral health, or child care backgrounds
• Familiarity with supporting students with special needs, autism, or behavioral challenges
• CPI, PMT, or RBT experience (helpful but not mandatory)
• Patient, reliable, and ready to collaborate with school staff
