Job Description
Embark on a rewarding contract opportunity supporting students from kindergarten through twelfth grade as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT). Qualifications:
- Current RBT Certification is required and must be maintained throughout the assignment
- Experience working with K-12 students or in school settings is highly valued
- Strong understanding of applied behavior analysis (ABA) principles and data collection
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for collaborating with educators, students, and families
- Flexible, adaptable approach, with the ability to respond to varying caseloads as needed
- Dedication to maintaining confidentiality and professional standards
Responsibilities:
- Deliver 1:1 or small group behavioral interventions in accordance with students individualized education and behavioral plans
- Collaborate with behavior analysts, special educators, and other staff to support student goals
- Collect accurate data to track student progress and support data-driven decisions
- Adapt behavioral strategies for diverse learning needs and classroom environments
- Foster positive relationships to support student engagement and social-emotional development
- Participate in ongoing professional learning to stay current in best practices for behavior intervention
