Per Diem Registered Behavior Technician in Liberty, MO

As a School-Based Paraprofessional, you'll play a key role in supporting students through one-on-one or small group interactions, helping them thrive both inside and outside the classroom.

What youll do:

• Deliver 1:1 or small group academic, behavioral, and social support under a teachers direction
• Aid students with daily routines, classroom activities, and transitions
• Implement behavior support plans and follow Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Assist with mobility, supervision, and personal care needs as needed
• Promote a positive, safe, and inclusive school atmosphere

Desired qualifications:

• Associates degree or higher
• At least 18 years old
• Physically capable of standing, walking, and lifting as necessary
• Willingness to obtain fingerprint background clearances prior to starting
• Preferred: Experience in school, special education, behavioral health, or child care settings
• Experience supporting students with special needs, autism, or behavioral challenges
• Certification or experience in CPI, PMT, or as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) is a plus
• Reliable, patient, and collaborative team player
