Compensation for this per diem role is $28.00 per hour.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver 1:1 or small group support, addressing academic, behavioral, and social needs under teacher direction
  • Assist students with daily routines, classroom transitions, and participation in activities
  • Implement behavior support strategies and follow Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
  • Provide supervision, support student mobility, and assist with personal care as required
  • Help maintain a safe, inclusive, and respectful classroom environment

Qualifications:

  • Associates Degree or higher
  • At least 18 years of age
  • Physically able to stand, walk, and lift as the role demands
  • Current fingerprint background clearance or ability to secure clearance before starting

Preferred Experience:

  • History of working in schools, special education, behavioral health, or child care
  • Experience supporting students with special needs, autism, or behavioral challenges
  • Certification or background in CPI, PMT, or RBT is a plus
  • Demonstrates reliability, patience, and a collaborative spirit
