Per Diem RBT | La Mesa, California

Registered Behavioral Technician Subs are needed to provide direct, compassionate support to students in a variety of school settings. These per diem, as-needed assignments offer true flexibilityaccept shifts that fit your schedule while making a valuable difference in the lives of students. As an RBT, youll work closely with teachers and school staff to create a supportive learning environment, offering both academic and behavioral assistance in 1:1 and small group settings.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist students with academic, behavioral, and social needs within classroom environments
• Deliver 1:1 or small-group support as directed by school personnel
• Aid students in daily routines, classroom participation, and transitions between activities
• Follow and implement behavioral support plans and IEPs accordingly
• Support students mobility, supervision, andwhen necessarypersonal care tasks
• Foster a safe and inclusive atmosphere conducive to learning and growth

Basic Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED
• Age 18 or older
• Current or willingness to obtain TB testing per district guidelines
• Capacity to stand, walk, and assist with lifting as needed
• Current clearances (or willingness to obtain prior to beginning)

Preferred Skills:

• Experience in schools, behavioral health, special education, or child care
• Familiarity supporting students with autism, special needs, or behavioral challenges
• CPI, PMT, or RBT experience valued, but not required
• Patience, dependability, and a collaborative approach

Compensation for this position ranges from $28.50 to $40.50. This posting is open for 60 days after the posting date.
