What you'll bring:

  • Associates degree or higher
  • Minimum age of 18 years
  • Ability to stand, walk, and assist with lifting as needed
  • Valid fingerprint background clearance or willingness to obtain prior to starting
  • Experience in school settings, special education, behavioral health, or child care preferred
  • Familiarity supporting students with special needs, autism, or behavioral challenges is a plus
  • Certification or background in CPI, PMT, or as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) highly valued
  • Reliable, collaborative, and patient approach to supporting students and teachers

Daily responsibilities:

  • Deliver one-on-one or small group support, fostering student participation and learning under teacher direction
  • Facilitate daily routines, classroom transitions, and encourage inclusive participation
  • Implement and reinforce behavior support strategies and Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
  • Assist with mobility, supervision, and personal care needs as necessary to promote student success and safety
  • Help maintain a respectful, supportive, and inclusive environment for all learners
