Per Diem Registered Behavior Technician in Johannesburg, CA

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver 1:1 or small-group support to students following teachers and staff direction
• Assist students in classroom participation, daily routines, and transitions
• Help implement behavior intervention plans and IEPs as directed
• Support with supervision, mobility, and basic personal care
• Foster a safe, respectful, and engaging classroom environment
• Maintain confidentiality and positive, proactive communication

School Compliance Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED
• 18 years of age or older
• Recent TB test (per district guidelines)
• Physically able to stand, walk, and assist with lifting as needed
• Up-to-date or willing to obtain required background clearances prior to starting

Preferred Experience:

• Previous experience in a school, special education, behavioral health, or child care role
• Familiarity with autism, special needs, or behavioral challenges
• RBT, CPI, or PMT experience is a plus but not mandatory
