Registered Behavioral Technicians are invited to join a dedicated team providing valuable support to students in a dynamic, school-based environment near Hayward, CA. Key Responsibilities:

  • Offer academic, behavioral, and social support to students in classroom environments
  • Deliver 1:1 or small group assistance under the guidance of teachers and school staff
  • Help students transition through daily routines and participate fully in school activities
  • Implement behavior support strategies and follow Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) as directed
  • Provide support with mobility, supervision, and personal care as needed
  • Foster a safe, respectful, and inclusive learning atmosphere

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Minimum age of 18 years
  • Successful TB test (as per district requirements)
  • Physical ability to stand, walk, and assist with lifting when required
  • Current school compliance clearances, or willingness to obtain them before starting

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in schools, special education, behavioral health, or child care settings
  • Familiarity working with students with special needs, autism, or behavioral challenges
  • Background with CPI, PMT, or RBT methodologies (not required, but beneficial)
  • Demonstrated reliability, patience, and a collaborative approach
