Per Diem Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) - Hayward, California

Per diem opportunities are now available for Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) to provide essential support within school settings. Responsibilities include:

• Delivering 1:1 and small-group support to students in classroom and school environments
• Assisting with academics, classroom participation, daily routines, and transitions
• Implementing behavior support plans in alignment with students Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), as directed
• Observing and reporting student behavior to supervisors
• Supporting student mobility, engagement, and personal care with professionalism
• Maintaining an inclusive, respectful, and safe learning atmosphere

To be eligible, candidates must:

• Hold a high school diploma or GED
• Possess active RBT certification
• Be at least 18 years old
• Meet TB testing requirements as set by the district
• Be able to stand, walk, and provide lifting assistance as needed
• Have current (or willingness to obtain) all required school clearances

Preferred experience includes:

• Background in schools, behavioral health, special education, or childcare
• Supporting students with autism or behavioral challenges
• CPI, PMT, or past RBT employment (a plus but not required)
• Collaborative, patient, and reliable approach
