Per Diem RBT | Hayward, California

Make a difference every day by supporting students academic and behavioral success as a Registered Behavior Technician in school-based settings. Flexible, per diem assignments allow you to work according to your availability, providing vital assistance to students who need one-on-one or small-group support.

Responsibilities in this role include:

• Providing behavioral, academic, and social support to students in classrooms
• Documenting student behaviors and communicating progress to supervisors
• Working directly with teachers and school staff on individualized or group interventions
• Assisting students with daily routines and helping them transition smoothly throughout the school day
• Following behavior intervention plans and IEPs as needed
• Ensuring a safe, inclusive, and positive school environment
• Contributing to supervision and mobility assistance as required

To be considered for these opportunities, you will need:

• High school diploma or GED
• Active RBT certification
• Be at least 18 years old
• Completion of a TB test per district guidelines
• Ability to stand, walk, and provide physical assistance if needed
• Up-to-date school clearances, or willingness to obtain

Preferred candidates will also have:

• Direct experience working in schools, child care, or behavioral health environments
• Experience supporting students with special needs, autism, or behavioral challenges
• Knowledge of CPI, PMT, or additional behavioral support methods (not mandatory)
• A collaborative, patient, and committed attitude
