Registered Behavior Technician in Fort Jones, CA

Begin making a difference in the lives of K-12 students as a Registered Behavior Technician on a flexible, as-needed basis near Fort Jones, CA. Your expertise will support students with behavioral needs using evidence-based interventions, helping them achieve positive outcomes and personal growth throughout the school year and beyond.

Qualifications:

• Current and active RBT (Registered Behavior Technician) certification required
• Experience working with children and adolescents, preferably in a school or educational environment
• Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate with teachers, families, and other team members
• Compassion, patience, and a commitment to supporting the success of students with diverse needs
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to ethical guidelines

Responsibilities:

• Deliver one-on-one and small group behavioral therapy for students in K-12 settings
• Collect data and accurately record progress in alignment with students' individualized plans
• Work closely with classroom staff and licensed behavior analysts to implement intervention strategies
• Support students during classroom activities, transitions, and social interactions
• Maintain a safe, positive, and inclusive learning environment
• Attend relevant meetings and training as needed

This per diem position offers flexible hours, allowing you to build your schedule around other commitments while gaining valuable experience in the special education field. The assignment begins as soon as possible and continues through June 30, 2026.
