Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver individualized or small group support, both academically and behaviorally, following teacher direction
- Assist students with classroom routines, daily transitions, and active participation
- Carry out behavior intervention plans and adhere to Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Support students mobility, supervision, and personal care requirements as needed
- Help cultivate a safe, inclusive, and respectful atmosphere that encourages learning for all
Qualifications:
- Associates degree or higher
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Capable of standing, walking, and lifting/assisting as necessary
- Current or obtainable fingerprint background clearance
- Preferred: Experience in schools, special education, behavioral health, or child care
- Preferred: Experience supporting students with autism/special needs or behavioral challenges
- CPI, PMT, or RBT certification/experience is a plus
- Dependable, patient, and collaborative work ethic
