What Youll Do:

  • Deliver one-on-one or small group assistance, helping students engage in classroom activities.
  • Aid with daily routines, transitions, and support participation under the direction of teaching staff.
  • Execute behavior support plans and implement strategies detailed in students Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
  • Support students mobility, supervision, and personal care needs as needed.
  • Foster a safe, respectful, and inclusive atmosphere to help all students thrive.

Desired Skills & Qualifications:

  • Associates Degree or higher required.
  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Comfortable standing, walking, and occasionally assisting with lifting.
  • Current fingerprint background clearance or willingness to complete this prior to starting.

Preferred Experience:

  • Experience in schools, special education, behavioral health, or childcare.
  • Prior work with students with special needs, autism, or behavioral challenges.
  • Credentials or training in CPI, PMT, or as an RBT highly valued.
  • Strong reliability, patience, and a collaborative spirit.
