Job Description

Key Qualifications:
- Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification or experience as a Paraprofessional, ideally in a school or pediatric environment.
- Practical experience supporting children with behavioral needs.
- Understanding of classroom management, with the flexibility to assist K12 students.
- Compassion, reliability, and strong teamwork skills.
- Comfortable assisting with toileting and other student care needs as required.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Support classroom teachers and special education staff with student engagement, redirection, and positive behavior strategies.
- Implement individualized behavior intervention plans alongside district staff.
- Assist students with daily activities, including personal care such as toileting when necessary.
- Foster an inclusive, supportive classroom environment for students of all ages and abilities.
- Maintain clear communication with teachers, students, and families as appropriate.
