Key Qualifications:

• Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification or experience as a Paraprofessional, ideally in a school or pediatric environment.
• Practical experience supporting children with behavioral needs.
• Understanding of classroom management, with the flexibility to assist K12 students.
• Compassion, reliability, and strong teamwork skills.
• Comfortable assisting with toileting and other student care needs as required.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Support classroom teachers and special education staff with student engagement, redirection, and positive behavior strategies.
• Implement individualized behavior intervention plans alongside district staff.
• Assist students with daily activities, including personal care such as toileting when necessary.
• Foster an inclusive, supportive classroom environment for students of all ages and abilities.
• Maintain clear communication with teachers, students, and families as appropriate.
