Per Diem RBT | El Cajon, California

Make a real difference in students lives while enjoying the flexibility of per diem work as a Registered Behavior Technician in a supportive, school-based setting. We are actively seeking compassionate RBTs to provide 1:1 and small-group support for students, on an as-needed basis, with assignments determined by school coverage needs. Essential Responsibilities:

• Provide individualized and small-group support to students, as directed by school personnel.
• Assist students throughout daily routines, classroom transitions, and academic activities.
• Implement behavior intervention plans and follow IEP guidelines as applicable.
• Foster a safe, inclusive, and respectful classroom environment.
• Support students with mobility, personal care, and supervision needs.
• Maintain clear communication with school staff to ensure continuity of care.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Ability to obtain or provide proof of current TB test (per district requirements).
• Comfortable with standing, walking, and assisting with lifting as needed.
• Must have or be willing to obtain school-required clearances prior to starting.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in schools, special education, behavioral health, or childcare settings.
• Familiarity with supporting students with special needs, autism, or behavioral challenges.
• Previous CPI, PMT, or RBT experience is a plus.
• Reliable, patient, and collaborative approach.

Compensation for this position ranges from $28.50 to $40.50. This posting is open for 60 days after the posting date.
