Job Description
Make a real difference in students lives while enjoying the flexibility of per diem work as a Registered Behavior Technician in a supportive, school-based setting. We are actively seeking compassionate RBTs to provide 1:1 and small-group support for students, on an as-needed basis, with assignments determined by school coverage needs. This is a rewarding opportunity to use your skills in behavioral support and student assistance within a structured educational environment.
Youll work closely with teachers and staff to help students succeed academically, behaviorally, and socially. If you thrive in dynamic environments and value flexibility, this role is ideal for you.
Essential Responsibilities:
- Provide individualized and small-group support to students, as directed by school personnel.
- Assist students throughout daily routines, classroom transitions, and academic activities.
- Implement behavior intervention plans and follow IEP guidelines as applicable.
- Foster a safe, inclusive, and respectful classroom environment.
- Support students with mobility, personal care, and supervision needs.
- Maintain clear communication with school staff to ensure continuity of care.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Ability to obtain or provide proof of current TB test (per district requirements).
- Comfortable with standing, walking, and assisting with lifting as needed.
- Must have or be willing to obtain school-required clearances prior to starting.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in schools, special education, behavioral health, or childcare settings.
- Familiarity with supporting students with special needs, autism, or behavioral challenges.
- Previous CPI, PMT, or RBT experience is a plus.
- Reliable, patient, and collaborative approach.

Compensation for this position ranges from $28.50 to $40.50. This posting is open for 60 days after the posting date.
