Job Description
Registered Behavioral Technician subs are needed to provide crucial one-on-one support for students within a structured school environment. This per diem opportunity offers flexible scheduling based on school coverage needs, making it well-suited for compassionate professionals looking to make a positive impact.
As an RBT in this role, you'll be an essential resource in the classroomassisting students both academically and behaviorally. Your focus will include:
Responsibilities:
- Deliver individualized or small-group support aligning with guidance from teachers and school staff
- Assist students with daily routines, transitions, and active participation in class settings
- Follow and implement behavior support plans and IEPs as necessary
- Support with supervision, mobility, and sometimes personal care needs
- Promote a safe and inclusive environment for all students
Requirements for School Compliance:
- High school diploma or GED
- Minimum age of 18 years old
- TB test, as required by the district
- Ability to stand, walk, and occasionally assist with lifting
- Up-to-date clearances, or willingness to obtain them before starting
Preferred Experience:
- Background in schools, behavioral health, special education, or childcare
- Experience with students who have special needs, autism, or behavioral challenges
- Familiarity with CPI, PMT, or as a Registered Behavior Technician is a plus
- Reliability, patience, and a collaborative approach
