Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver one-on-one or small group support for academic tasks, social skills, and behavioral needs under the direction of the classroom teacher
  • Assist with daily activities, transitions, and classroom participation
  • Follow and implement behavior support plans and Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
  • Provide help with mobility, personal care, and supervision as necessary
  • Maintain a safe, inclusive, and respectful classroom atmosphere

Qualifications:

  • Associates Degree or higher is a plus
  • Minimum age 18
  • Physically able to stand, walk, and assist with lifting
  • Willingness to obtain or current possession of fingerprint background clearances

Preferred Experience:

  • Prior work in schools, special education, behavioral health, or child care
  • Experience supporting children with special needs, autism, or behavioral challenges
  • CPI, PMT, or RBT certification or experience is a bonus
  • Demonstrates reliability, patience, and teamwork
