Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver 1:1 or small group academic and behavioral assistance following teacher direction
- Aid students with daily routines, transitions, and class engagement
- Implement behavior support strategies and follow Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Support students mobility, provide supervision, and assist with personal care when needed
- Promote and maintain a safe, respectful, and welcoming classroom environment
Desired Qualifications:
- Associates Degree or higher required
- At least 18 years old
- Physically able to stand, walk, and help with lifting, as needed
- Current fingerprint background clearances or willingness to obtain prior to start
Preferred Experience:
- School, special education, behavioral health, or child care experience
- Previous work supporting students with special needs, autism, or behavioral challenges
- CPI, PMT, or RBT certification/experience a plus
- Dependable, patient, and a positive team player
