What Youll Do:

  • Deliver 1:1 or small group academic, behavioral, and social support as guided by certified teachers
  • Help students with classroom participation, daily routines, and smooth transitions throughout the day
  • Implement targeted behavior support strategies and consistently follow Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
  • Assist with personal care, student mobility, and supervision as needed
  • Foster a safe, respectful, and welcoming classroom environment for all learners

What Youll Need:

  • An Associates Degree or higher
  • At least 18 years of age
  • Physical ability to actively assist students, including standing, walking, and occasional lifting
  • Current fingerprint-based background clearances (or willingness to obtain before starting)

Preferred Experience and Qualities:

  • Background in educational, behavioral health, special needs, or child care environments
  • Experience assisting students with autism, behavioral challenges, or special needs
  • Certification or practical experience as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT), or trained in CPI or PMT is highly valued
