What Youll Do:

• Offer academic, behavioral, and social support to students within classroom settings
• Deliver 1:1 or small-group assistance at the direction of educators and school personnel
• Guide students through daily routines, classroom transitions, and participation
• Carry out behavior support plans and adhere to IEPs as required
• Assist with mobility, supervision, and personal care when needed
• Foster a safe, respectful, and welcoming learning environment

Requirements for School Placement:

• High school diploma or GED
• At least 18 years old
• TB test (in accordance with district guidelines)
• Physically able to stand, walk, and help with lifting as necessary
• Willingness to obtain all clearances prior to starting

Preferred Background:

• Previous experience in schools, special education, behavioral health, or child care
• Experience assisting students with special needs, including autism or behavioral challenges
• CPI, PMT, or RBT experience (a plus, but not mandatory)
• Dependable, patient, and collaborative attitude
