Per Diem Registered Behavior Technician - Carlsbad, CA

What youll do:

• Support students academically, behaviorally, and socially in classroom environments
• Deliver 1:1 or small-group assistance as directed by teachers and staff
• Assist with daily routines, classroom transitions, and participation
• Implement established behavior support plans and follow student IEPs as required
• Provide mobility, supervision, and personal care support as needed
• Maintain a respectful, inclusive, and safe space for learning

To be considered, youll need:

• High school diploma or GED
• Minimum age of 18
• TB test, as required by the district
• Ability to stand, walk, and help with lifting when necessary
• Up-to-date clearances (or willingness to obtain before starting)

Preferred experience:

• Previous work in schools, special education, behavioral health, or child care
• Experience supporting students with special needs, autism, or behavioral challenges
• CPI, PMT, or RBT certification/experience (not required, but a plus)
• Reliable, patient, and a strong team player
